Title: A Frozen Memory
10 in. x 8 in.
acrylic on canvas
On the way out of Glacier Bay National
Park, we cruised by Lamplugh Glacier for
the second time.
I was on the outside stern deck of the ship,
and as I watched, clouds came down and
touched the mountains surrounding the
glacier. It did seem to me like a moment out
of time. It was so coldly desolate, yet so
very beautiful.
This particular image stuck in my mind, and
that's how this painting got it's name.
